Dallas School District No. 2 is accepting applications for a full-time, year round Food Service Program Manager.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant school nutrition program experience OR high school diploma (or GED) and at least 10 years of school nutrition program experience.
- Ability to maintain appropriate certifications and training hours as required to meet USDA required Child Nutrition Programs Professional Standars for School Nutrition Managers.
- General knowledge of computer usage and ability to use to enter data into computer for tracking of lunches and orders, ability to use email.
- Must have possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Oregon Driver License, CPR/First Aid certificate, and Oregon Food Handler card.
- Ability to appropriately communicate with students, teachers, parents and members of the community. Ability to exercise good judgement and work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Monitors and implements standardization for the district's meal service operation.
- Maintains current program information on the district website.
- Provides training to employees for the purpose of helping them to achieve success and meet the needs of the child nutrition program.
- Manages the transport of food and supplies to all district locations.
